Yahoo is finally taking the wrap off a revamped home page that will show more information and services from other places on the Web.
Web surfers in the United States will be given the option to switch to the renovated front page beginning Tuesday.
The new look will be introduced in the United Kingdom, India and France later this week. It will roll out to the rest of the world during the next year.
Yahoo Inc. is hailing the overhaul as the biggest change to its front page since its Web site's creation 15 years ago. The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company has been tinkering with the revisions for the past 10 months.
Although its business has been struggling, Yahoo's Web site remains a huge draw with more than 570 million monthly visitors.
