A Ford Motor Co. executive says the automaker expects to get the same deal as General Motors Corp. and Chrysler LLC if unions give more concessions to its rivals.

Ford Vice President of Labor Affairs Marty Mulloy told reporters Thursday that "our expectation is we would not be placed at a disadvantage."

GM and Chrysler are surviving with federal government bailouts as they struggle to restructure.

The three domestic automakers and the UAW agreed on concession deals in February. Workers at Ford, which is not receiving government aid, ratified their deal.

But the GM and Chrysler pacts were never presented to union members because they got hung up on funding for a union-run trust that will take over retiree health care expenses next year.
