Ellis Posts 8 Points in KU's 79-76 Over Swiss

The Kansas Jayhawks, up 17 at one point in the fourth quarter, held off a furious comeback by the Swiss National Team to take a 79-76 victory Tuesday to open the team's 2012 European Tour.

KU was led in scoring by Jeff Withey's 12 points. Elijah Johnson and Travis Releford each had 11, and Andrew White scored 10.
