Royals let Mijares go to Giants, recall Bueno

The Kansas City Royals have allowed left-handed reliever Jose Mijares to leave for the San Francisco Giants on a waiver claim and have recalled left-hander Francisley Bueno from Triple-A Omaha. The Royals announced the moves before Monday's game against the Chicago White Sox.
Mijares was 2-2 with a 2.56 ERA in 51 relief appearances. He spent his first four seasons with Minnesota and is 5-8 with a 3.04 ERA in his career. Bueno is in his third stint this year with the Royals. He has allowed two runs over 4 2-3 innings in three appearances.
