Kansas' Wes Benjamin (5-7) gave up one run on five hits over six innings to get the win in Thursday's game in Oklahoma City while Robert Kahana allowed one run during the final three innings to earn the save for the fourth-seeded Jayhawks (23-33).
John Curtiss (2-3) gave up all four Kansas runs over 6 2-3 innings to take the loss for second-seeded Texas (30-22).
Kansas will play Friday against the loser of Thursday's Missouri-Texas A&M game.

Oklahoma State starter Randy McCurry faced five hitters without recording an out before he was knocked out of the game during K-State's three-run first. Kansas State (27-30) added three more runs in the third and broke the game open with a four-run fourth inning after the Cowboys (32-25) scored three times in the bottom of the third.
McCurry (4-3) took the loss while Gerardo Esquivel (3-1) picked up the win with 2 1-3 innings of scoreless relief of starter Joe Flattery.
