Tyler Wampler led off the 10th inning with a single through the left side and advanced to second on a fielding error. After an intentional walk to Landon Curry, Cale Elam threw out Wampler at third on a bunt attempt. Jeremy Lucas then singled down the left field line off the glove of Tyler Baker to score Curry for the 1-0 win.

Mikel Mucha went 2-for-3 for the Shockers, while Casey Gillaspie, Micah Green and Taylor Doggett each had a hit.

Reliever Cale Elam took the loss. Starter Josh Smith went 6.2 innings and gave up no runs on three hits with one walk and four strikeouts.
