really when it comes to stealing it doesnt matter what the cause was, bottom line is stealing is wrong, and yeah maybe that could have been his cause but that doesnt make it a just cause. others shouldnt have to suffer just because somebody cant afford things for who ever.. if people cant afford things, there are other options, like an honest job, or maybe he could have seen if somebody would be willing to help him out.. desperate or not, dont steal.
Oh c'mon, really? Two candles and a cake? He likely has a child that age and was desperate to celebrate their birthday.
I can't help but wonder if he was stealing cake and candles maybe for his kids birthday?
Something tells me that this was a desperate Father trying to do something special for his child??? Good heart, bad choices. :(
