I wholeheartedly agree with the judge. To bad more places don't enforce dress codes and quit accepting the shamefully ugly sagging pants.
I wish there was a law against saggy pants. I don't like seeing anyones behind or underwear. Oh and how their hips are going to hurt later in life, because of the way they have to walk to keep them up. Good for the judge!
I think the judge is right about it being disrespectful to come to court with your pants that low but putting the kid in jail for it was a little over the top. He could have told him to leave his courtroom and set the kids court date for later and tell him he needs to have pants on that fit him or a belt to keep them up the next time he is in his courtroom.
Bravo for the judge. There are dress codes for appearing in court and it's about time they are enforced. You may not respect yourself, but you need to respect the Court.

He was absolutely right, I am quite tired of going anywhere and seeing male butts hanging out because their pants are down to their knees should that not be considered indecent exposure if women wore there shirts way down below the breasts it would be...MEN--no one cares to look at your butts--pull them up.
Go Judge GO!!!! Sagging pants are ugly looking and embarrassing in the public eye!. Since the "look" DID start in prison as advertisement for a man stating that he was "available". I think it is fantastic that a public figure is taking action against something that is so offensive to a lot of folks in society. I think it is the perfect call for the Judge.!!!
