Colorado Man Killed In Northwest Kansas Rollover Crash

A Colorado man was killed Saturday night in rollover crash in northwest Kansas.

It happened just before 11:45 p.m. on K-123 about two miles north of Leoville in Decatur County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says a Toyota pickup was driving southbound on K-123 when it left the roadway, overcorrected and rolled.

The driver of the pickup, 23-year-old Gordon Gibson, of Florence, Colo., was pronounced dead at the scene. Reports state he was not wearing a seatbelt.

The 22-year-old passenger, Parker Gibson, was taken to a hospital in Oberlin for treatment. His current condition is unknown.

The accident is under investigation.
