An Arkansas City man has been arrested after police say he stole the identity of a Tennessee man who was serving with the U.S. Navy.
Police say Pedro Mendoza used the man's stolen identity to get a job at a plant in Arkansas City. Mendoza was arrested on identity theft charges.
Officials say Mendoza will face federal charges because the victim was serving in the military at the time of the alleged identity theft.
