Not much of a gambler but I guarantee this that I will never purchase another Kansas lottery ticket or step foot in a Kansas casino as long as I live. If I cannot ride in a poker run for a good cause for a charity that benefits from the money I spend, there is no way that I will be throwing my money away on the casinos or lottery in Kansas. Plenty of other states have casinos or lottery.

Oh My another way to control what people do to benefit people who are having bad times. You know if the government would be more worried about running the country instead of sticking their nose in other affairs that I don't believe is any of their business. I for one know people who ride in the poker runs and they are good people doing good things with the money they raise. Now if the Kansas Government is offered a part of the money. I don't believe they would have a problem.

Obama's fault. He said "America is great and I want CHANGE". People voted him in.

Where I live, most Law Enforcement Officers are the ones riding with me on the Poker Runs.

It really is Obama's fault. If the State wasn't out of money because of Obama, the State wouldn't need taxation on benifit fundraisers.

Actually it only states charities and non profit organizations. Schools aren't non profits. Neither are car dealerships. As long as you pay taxes on it and the state gets their cut, they won't complain.

I understand everyone's irritation and disbelief. However Sam Brownback isn't the person who established the law. You have none other than former governor Kathleen Sebelius (Democrat) to thank for that. She did this in her 6 year stint in office.

I came to Kansas 5 yrs ago and I am about to leave Kansas in 30 days...I will never look back nor visit this state again. I will do my utmost best to discourage others from coming here. In 5 yrs I have seen the worst of corruptions in the Justice System and the Kansas political parties. This is the rottenest state in this country!! Good riddens!!
