We can all talk about this and do nothing, or we can form a plan and stand together to make a change. If soneone has a plan that makes since, put it out there and "US" American's will stand together. Can we do this?? YES!

I believe the law reads like this. If your poker run or charity raffle does not provide any income to the states Government. It's Illegal. If uncle sam doesen't get his cut of any gains. then you need to take that stuff to another nation cause this is a free country right here. Tip do your poker run and raffle on an indian reservation.

This is appalling!! What next, toy runs? Just because they want to dip into the pockets of people with hardships? By doing this they are making it even harder for people to receive help, and making it hard for good people to do the right thing and get the community together to help people in need! I can't believe this! This is a truly sad and pathetic ploy to keep people from having a chance to help one another.

I have an idea-How about if we protest this ridiculous statute by opting out of all state lottery games, such as powerball, kansas cash, pick 3,2 X 2, etc... I bet they'd back off of these charities if we did this for even just ONE drawing! If not, take it a step further and stop buying scratch off tickets as well. OMG, that would destroy them! C'mon Kansas! Can we fix it? YES WE CAN! Can I get an "AMEN!" What do we want? POKER RUNS! When do we want em'? RIGHT NOW!...Everybody....

Those charitable runs often donate to those who fall through the cracks, those who don't get any government help, have lost their jobs or have no health insurance.

These people are going beyond stupid, Charities are having a hard time already, perhaps the state could use some of that casino revenue to help replace revenue lost because of bad laws

This is so Kansas, what is wrong with this town. Is it that all politicians think if it doesn't line their pockets then we don't want it. I believe all politicians should be banned. The rest of us don't get to retire with full benefits and full pay and now they are trying to burn Social Security.

Doesn't matter is anyone benefits from it. If the laws say it is illegal then it is illegal.
