most people are right one vote does not mean much but one vote is all we get and to waste it my not using it only leads to more problems every ones has it wrong think one person in washigton can make a difference
real change starts at the local level where just a few people does make a difference this two party sestems broken i cannot vote demcratic because i belive the less goverment the better but the religious right has taken over the repubclains as from i vote
no incumbents first
no demectars unless i feel its closes enough that one vote will make a difference
no republicans unless it is a close election with a demcrat incumbent
my vote will be for any name thats is a third party
and change starts at home the more local the election the bigger chance of change
if every body who realy wants change they will vote as i will and even if its only 20% that votes a 3rd party it will wake of topeka first and say the current path we are on is no good
the republicans are to far right and demcrates are to far left we must meet in the middle again

How about mandatory voting for people who are college graduates. Making it easier for people to vote would only work against those who are running in politics, so they keep up that perpetual bureaucracy so only a small portion of people will vote. Only two parties allowed, and you cant vote unless you go thru their channels, there is no real democracy.

Even if my one vote equaled 300,000,000 votes, it wouldn't matter one bit because Kansas is a permanent Republican state worth only 4 electoral points. Kansas is permanently controlled by Christians who ban the sale of alcohol on Sunday and ban evolution from our public schools. I could have been alive and voted the last 200 years and NOT ONE DIFFERENCE it would have made. Stop lying to me I am not going to vote when my time is worth more than your pathetic campaigns to earn a job that gets salaries paid by my high taxes.

I believe a couple things need to happen... First, people should be required to take a 5 question quiz about the party members and pass it 100% in order to vote. These would be basic questions that anyone who watches the news should be able to easily answer... this would weed out those who shouldn't be voting. Second, need to make it easier to vote. I know this sounds like the opposite of my first proposal but people should all be able to vote on their smart phones or similar devices... take advantage of technology for the lazy people.

all the politicans that are running are corrupt and only think of them self. only one young man running for state senate is honest. the woman running again, has not helped any one.

Well when it comes down to two people that are going to rob me, the middle class, blind. Then I dont really care who wins. They are both going to put me in the poor house without a chance to recover so why vote on either one of them. We have no good choice for amaerica this year. we at least had a tried and true war veteren last election, but we chose "change" instead of dollars.....

the primary system si the same since the state started voting. the system has always been primaries are how a party decides who will run for them. what dosnt make sense is that you think you cant vote. you cant vote in the democrat primary, or the republican primary, but you should be allowed to vote on local issues. the system is set up so democrrats cant influence what republican runs, and visa versa in the main election.
