I can think of many reasons how someone could die in this heat. Believe it or not some people can't afford AC, some people actually work in this heat, some people have health issues and the heat makes those health issues worse. I'm glad your able to "lounge around" in this heat but please understand this heat can be very dangerous for some people.

From what I've read in the local paper, the man was working at a job that required extensive time outdoors. As a nurse, I know it doesn't take long to become dehydrated, become unconscious, and have elevated body temps that cause brain injury and death. Any kind of diabetes, hypertension, or other "minor" health issue can complicate things severely and quickly, so I think it's unfair to say he was baking in the sun, although his job required him to be exposed for long periods of time. It wasn't his choice to die this way, obviously.

I don't understand how normal people die from this in the 21st century, what was the guy doing? "I think I'll turn off the airconditioner and bake in the hot sun for ten hours. You can fry eggs in this temperature but it is perfectly safe and normal for me to lounge around in it."
