Home Robbery Leads To Police Chase And Manhunt In E. Wichita

A home robbery led to a police chase and manhunt in east Wichita early this morning.

Wichita police were called to the robbery at a residence in the 1100 block of S. Lilac at around 12:15 a.m. Moments later, a white pickup matching the description of the suspect vehicle was spotted and began to run from officers.

Authorities say the pickup sped east on Kellogg and exited on Oliver. The man ditched his vehicle in the 700 block of S. Oliver and may have gone into a residence. He has not been located.

There were reports that the man was armed, but police have not recovered a weapon.

No other information has been released.
