Coal Train Derails In Northeastern Kansas

About 30 cars of a coal train have gone off the tracks near Junction City in northeastern Kansas.

KJCK-AM reports the derailment happened around 5 p.m. Wednesday on the southeastern side of the city. The train was made up of more than 100 cars.

No injuries were reported.

Crews from Union Pacific were on the scene Wednesday evening clearing the wreckage.
