Bidding Beggs Farewell

It was a true Black and Gold Shocker send-off Thursday for retiring Wichita State University President Don Beggs and his wife.

Both Beggs and his wife, Shirley, were the guests of honor for a big party at Koch Arena. They say there were happy to have represented the people of WSU.

Even though they're moving back to Illinois, the Beggs promise to keep up with and support the Shockers as much as they always have.
