Oh come off it just because this is a smart group that evidently knows wichita and appears to be able to put clues together doesn't make it bad. Greedy I don't think so,This is a challenge and they seem to take it serious. If you have a problem with it why don't you get with the River Festival planners and get it changed or do you want someone to do that for you.It just might of went unclaimed this year if they hadn't won, it wouldn't be the first time. Everyone has the same chance.
How in the heck is it rigged. Just because people are smart enough to figure out all the clues doesn't make it rigged. This is one smart group even though it did take them clear up to 4 hrs before the deadline.
i think it is rigged who wants to hunt for it when the same person always finds it there is no fun anymore so why bother this is stupid anyway

They will have to pay taxes on the car before they can even sell it. Since it is prize that will push them into a different tax bracket. The car is considered a bonus/prize which will have to be claimed under IRS guidelines. The money they get for the car is not taxable. Have you ever received a bonus at work? Bonuses are normally taxed between 35%-40%. They do not fall under your personal tax bracket.
Nobody seems to be able to answer this simple question: Why is it not fair to win it as many times as you try?
Seriously is my thoughts also. Won't let others have a chance to win?? Sounds like it was found 4 hours before the deadline, and that the entire city had plenty of chances to win and beat these guys. Let's face it, these guys did not exacly burn it up on the clue solving for it to be found just in time. It sounds like the place it was found was walked over by every single individual that entered that park, and it was right off the path. I wonder how many of the complainers here fit that description? These guys just actually got after it and got lucky. Everybody there had the chance and did not find it.

Where were all the hunter complainers in this forum for 8 days??? If you were really there searching, it sounds like every single person that entered that park walked right over it. They just looked harder than the other hundreds of people. I think people had plenty of chances to find it. 4 hoursw before the deadline is not exacly burning it up on the clue solving.
I agree that those who find the medallion should only be allowed to do it once. Great that they found it but not fair to have done it 5x.
why this is a game for children who cares you need to be doing grown up things insted of playing hide and seek

I don't know where you get your tax information. It is ordinary income and it will depend on the tax bracket you are in.

In my profession we join the teams and act dumb and nice and when the prize is found bad things come to pass as we walk away with the trust that got us the finding. -2012 PS: They are one group to outsmart the public so why not sell out the prize?
