Wichita-based Hawker Beechcraft announced a new order for six Beechcraft King Air 350i turboprop planes.
Hawker Pacific, a sales and product support company in the Asia Pacific region, placed the order at the 2012 European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland.
The six deliveries will be phased over the next three years, with the first delivery taking place later this year, three deliveries in 2013 and the final two aircraft being delivered in 2014.
"This deal underlines the growing demand in Australia and Southeast Asia for state-of-the-art aviation," said Sean McGeough, HBC president, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
Alan Smith, CEO of Hawker Pacific said the company has received inquiries on cost reduction.
"We are confident these six aircraft will prove very popular amongst our clients across Asia Pacific," Smith said.
The Beechcraft King Air 350i turboprop utilizes high technology for increased efficiency, providing a responsible, sustainable alternative for business air travelers.
