Hey Dream, a little trick you may or may not know, If you want to stop a drunk rider from riding home and if he wont give up his keys, take the celophane off a pack of cigarettes and have someone or yourself put it between the spark plug and the plug wire....Bike wont start and can be easily removed when he is sober
Really???? Motorcycles should be outlawed??? Motorcycles are no more dangerous then you cagers who are texting, not paying attention, rubber necking....I would love to add more, But if I say what I really want to say to you this won't get posted.
FOR CARING PEOPLE OF WICHITA,KS..OMG YOU GUYS SOUND LIKE A BUNCH OLD HENS TRYING TO FIND SOMETHING TO YELL ABOUT.....IT WAS A PERSON IN A ACCIDENT THAT HAPPENED TO BE A RIDER...BIKERS ARE NOT DRUNKS,OR FREAKS,,,WE ARE PEOPLE JUST LIKE YOU..A SEAT BELT?, TEXTING? BIKES ARE SAFE AS LONG AS THE RIDER IS SAFE... JUST LIKE IN A CAR OR TRUCK....YOU HAVE NEW DRIVERS & OLDER ONES. YOU HAVE NEW RIDERS & OLDER ONES NO DIFFERENCE THAT I SEE... BUT THEN AGAIN I RIDE AND DRIVE...........THE ONLY REASON DRUNK DRIVERS GET AWAY IS THAT THEY HAVE ALREADY HIT THE RIDER...AND I WORK AT ONE OF THOSE BIKER BARS.I WOULDNT LET ANYONE OUT THAT DOOR DRUNK BIKE OR CAR.EVER!!!!!!!!!!!I TAKE KEYS AWAY DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOU ARE IN OR ON.....I AM ALL FOR MY CUSTOMERS HAVING A GREAT TIME BUT NOT AT A RISK OF THEM OR SOMEONE ELSE GETTING HURT.....YOU HAVE FANCY ART WE HAVE TATS, YOU HAVE WINE WE HAVE BEER, EVEN THOUGH I DO DRINK WINE ON OCCASION........HUMAN,PEOPLE,LIVES,FAMILY,,WHATS THE DIFFERENCE HERE???????????
i drive that area in the morning, it seems to have a lot more gravel and sand on the road then in other intersections. you have to make turns there slower than normal. it was an accident and i think you all need to choose your words a little better. not all the facts in this case are known yet. i wish the rider a fast recovery.
Was he wearing his seatbelt? He should be cited if not. Motorcycles are dangerous and should be outlawed.
Of course there is! There's always someone to blame when there's a motorcycle involved! Maybe it was the people that paved the road, or set up the lights, or the other drivers that were around him. We must find blame for this wreck now!

The biker bars in the area just north of there are not open that early are they? Its a perfect May day so hard to vision a safe driver having this accident, unless hit by another driver , but seems not the be the case or it would be mentioned here.
I hope he is ok.
