Send Colorado State Student Jumps Roof, Hits Concrete

A Colorado State University student was critically injured when he tried to jump into a pool from the roof of a Fort Collins apartment complex and hit the concrete.

Ian Smith was reported in critical condition Saturday with broken ankles, broken heels and multiple broken vertebrae in his lower back.

Witnesses pulled Smith from the pool and he was rushed to a hospital.
