Ref the campsites being not mowed, all of the parks have not hired seasonal help and won't until after June1 because of the budget, even then probably will only mow the most used ones. As far as the shower houses not being opened, they don't open them until they are sure there is not going to be any freezing temps. Very few are heated, most have exposed pipes. To have a pipe freeze and break costs extra money they don't have. Last night got it got down to 33.

Lake Cheney is a dump site... The others around the state are much nicer.

Parks changed reservations policy and screwed the park system up. I too spend Easter weekend at lake and grass was not mowed nor were the bath & shower houses open. Great job park service!

All that money and they cant mow the campsites.
I went to cheney lake for the weekend had to take my mower and mow. the grass was 8in. tall. They said they did not have te money to hire help.SAD
