How many poor people create jobs? I can't think of any. There are tons of people that actually pay nothing in taxes. How much more of a break do you think they need?

You nailed it, now there on to taxing the poor and middle class, so the Kochs and their ilk get a tax break. If economics were the issues, it would be best to give tax breaks to the lower end of the economic spectrum since it will get spent in Kansas. The rich may decide to buy a summer home in Colorado or invest in the Hong Kong equity market.

If Brownback had any backbone (pun intended) he'd just tell them they're going to stay put and stay in session until all their work is done!!! You'd see them get everything accomplished in record time!!!

Wheb our legislators realize that Brownback isn't their employer but their constiuents are and need to consider their wants and needs. I have been a Kansan for 89 years and feel income tax has been a good investment. I have enjoyed public schools, parks, golf courses, art, music, infrastructure, asistance for the disabled and much more. I prefer sales tax rather than property tax as all Kansans contribute. Appreciate sales tax removed from food.

Legislators were too busy passing legislation to restrict women's reproductive health care to work on issues most important to us, such as the budget and redistricting. Now they'll return and get paid to work on what they should have completed during the regular session. Guess who pays their salaries when they return? Yep, us taxpayers!
