A couple of lost donkeys were found wandering in Cowley County.
It took Rex Harrington several hours to corral the donkeys and get them onto his fenced property. He found them walking toward the highway south of Arkansas City on Saturday. He says they've taken well to the lush grass and fruit trees on his property.
"Thanks to the Dog Whisperer show, I learned calm and assertive energy catches a donkey," said Harrington.
Neighbors in the area don't own donkeys, so Harrington wasn't sure where they live. Thanks to his efforts, the donkeys' owners have been located and will soon be reunited with their wayward animals.
