A Winfield resident, who wished to remain anonymous, has claimed the $200,000 Powerball cash prize from the July 23 drawing.

The winner matched the first five numbers on a $1 Quik Pick ticket.

The winning numbers for the July 23 drawing were 01-07-27-38-48 Powerball 30.

The winner’s winning numbers were 01-07-27-38-48 Powerball 32.

After winning the $200,000 cash prize, the 64-year-old winner is hoping this will bring him closer to retirement. The winning ticket was purchased at Presto 1618, located at 230 S. Baltimore Ave. in Derby.
