A 69-year-old Burden resident has claimed the $200,000 Powerball prize from the June 15 drawing. The winner, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased a $1 Quick Pick ticket and matched the first five numbers, winning the $200,000 cash prize. The winning numbers were 19-20-38-41-43 Powerball 29. The winner's winning numbers were 19-20-38-41-43 Powerball 02.

"I was completely shocked when I checked the newspaper and realized that I had won," said the winner. "I knew I had won, but I wasn't sure how much until I had the ticket verified. I think I'm still in shock."

According to the winner, he plays Powerball every Wednesday and Saturday and always buys Quick Pick tickets.

"The most I have won before this was $100," said the winner. "I haven't told a soul yet, so this will be a big surprise to our family and friends."

The lucky player plans to save his winnings for retirement. He purchased his winning ticket at Felts One-Stop 2, located at Hwy 160 E. in Burden.
