A 69-year-old Salina man has claimed a $150,000 Super Kansas Cash jackpot at the Lottery's office in Great Bend. The big jackpot winner, who asked the Lottery not to disclose his identity, matched all numbers in the May 12 drawing. The winning numbers were 05-07-14-21-27 Cashball 01.

"I checked the numbers in the Salina paper Thursday morning, and there it was," said the lucky winner. "I went and got my wife and had her check the numbers. Together, we must have checked those numbers 20 times before we were really convinced!"

The winning ticket was a $5 Quick Pick. The winner says he and his wife have been playing Super Kansas Cash for years, and have a ticket for just about every drawing.

"We're so excited," the winner said. "You just never think it will happen to you." He advised other players looking for a jackpot win like his to "keep on plugging away at it."

Super Kansas Cash jackpots are paid in a single lump sum. After taxes, the winner will receive a check for $105,000.

The lucky ticket was sold at Dillons 27, located at 511 E. Iron Avenue in Salina. For selling the jackpot-winning ticket, the store becomes eligible for a $1,000 bonus.
