The Corner Bank South Branch has been the victim of an armed robbery.

Winfield Police Department got a call from the Corner Bank South, located at 1421 Main Street. Witnesses reported an armed robbery, committed by a man with an semi-automatic handgun. The man in question fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man is question is said to be Asian, somewhere between 5'5" and 5'9" and have a weight of 110 to 150 pounds. Eyewitnesses said he looked to be in age range of 18 to 22 years-old. He had on a dark blue t-shirt, loose pants and black shoes.

Police found out that the man escaped on foot west bound on W. 15th Avenue and then took a turn to go south on Menor Street.

The Corner Bank South Branch of Winfield has been the victim of an armed robbery.

Winfield Police said a man walked into the bank at 1421 Main Street at approximately 1:00 pm. He showed a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money.

The suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as as an Asian male approximately 5'5" to 5'9" and 110 to 150 lbs.

He was wearing a dark colored t-shirt, light colored pants, and a black mask.
