Mother Indicted In Missing Girl's Death
  • Posted By: KaronAren't there people out there like Sylvia Brown that help police solve crimes? Isn't it worth taking a chance to see what they come up with? I'm sure it would save time, and money. And hopefully the baby is still alive it could get her home sooner. just a suggestion. my prayers are with the family.
  • Posted By: I don't think she's insane. I just think that she didn't want to get caught. She wanted to live it up, party, and be a 23 year old single girl. No matter what penlty she gets (if at all), she will get what's coming to her. She's not tough enough to stay in prison for that long. And an execution would be even better for her.
  • Posted By: hollypersonally i think she's insane. who would go a month without telling anybody that her daughter is missing and then tell someone but expect to be found innocent? waiting a month doesnt make you innocent, it makes you seem guilty. i think that girl is dead even though her body has never been found. on the national news, it said there was an argument just days before the girl was supposedly missing. why kill a sweet and innocent child over a stupid argument? the news also said the mom could get the death penalty. i hope she does because what she did was completely unthinkable. i would never dream of hurting my child like that. either the death penalty is going to kill her or her conscience will get to her in prison.
  • Posted By: Shellyit is about dang time. that poor girl is dead and we all know it. why won't this mom fess up to what happened.
  • Posted By: courtneyI am relieved that they finally are giving the family and the poor little girl justice. I have just been sickened by this whole story. I just wonder what has taken them so long?
  • Posted By: MichelleThis story just breaks my heart. I have a little girl and I could not imagine hurting her in anyway. With that said, I am so tired of hearing all these parents, man and woman, hurting and killing their own children or any child for that matter. I don't understand, but I guess I don't have to... I am not like them and will never be like them. I hope that she dies a slow and painful death. I can't help but to think that this little girl was a victim of a drug party binge. I don't really care if FL has the death penalty or not. In jail, crimes against children are just not tolarated. She will gets hers eventually. I just hope that the location of the body will come out so the people who loved this little girl can finally have some sort of closure.
  • Posted By: LaciDid they ever find her body? I know it doesn't matter, she's is guilty no matter what. I was just curious.
  • Posted By: ElGood! As far as the death penalty in Fl. I just read an article that they will try to decide whether she will qualify for the death penalty or life in prison, if found guilty. What a horrible mother she is.
  • Posted By: stephanieFINALLY!!
  • Posted By: JasonThey have enough evidence to bring charges against someone - that is what they found. If a grand jury trial is a jok than why is she in jail right now for murder 1? It is a step to convict her or prove her innocence. I do not see how you would call our legal system a "joke" especially from someone that feels they need to educate everyone else of the processes. I just hope that some closure will come for the family.
  • Posted By: She should have been arrested and charged for murder from the beginning of this ordeal.
  • Posted By: A MOTHERI have been following this story every night watching Nancy Grace. I am very surprised it has taken this long for them to do anything. Her "story" has been unraveling for some time. She is just a psycho that killed her daughter to get her out of the way of her party life and I hope she pays for it! It would be very Motherly, not that she is any kind of a mother, of her to tell where she put the body so Caylee's grandparents will be able to put the child to rest the correct way and have peace with what has happened to her. I don't think Casey could tell the truth if it were written for her and I feel sorry for anyone that was ever sucked in by her. I PRAY THEY THROW THE BOOK AT HER AND SHE NEVER SEES THE LIGHT OF DAY AGAIN!! I am not sure if FL has the death penalty or not but if so I hope she gets it!!
  • Posted By: Flawed system or not. It is about time that they charge her with murder.
  • Posted By: About time!
  • Posted By: ShawnGrand Jury Indictments are a joke. It's very rare when a grand jury doesn't come back with an indictment. For those of you who don't know or aren't aware, only the prosecution is allowed to speak at a grand jury. The defendant isn't allowed to have an attorney or to even call witnesses on her behalf. The jury only hears one, competely loaded sided of the case. And here is the funny part, all grand jury testimony is sealed so nobody will know what anybody ever really testified to and whether or not it was true. Preliminary Hearings are the only fair way to fix this problem. It's certainly no surprise that another grand jury heard one sided evidence for days just to issue an indictment. Our 'Justice' system is seriously flawed.
