Brothers and sisters Gina, 8, Bobby, 11, Julia, 12, Jonathon, 14, and Jacob, 16, and I recently spent the day at Tanganyika Wildlife Park where we had a great time feeding the lemurs. Perhaps these kids relate so well to the lemur family because they're also a group who wants to stay together.
This is quite a group. Gina takes piano lessons and wants to be a surgeon. Bobby plays soccer. Julia loves to read and wants to be a doctor. Johnny and Jacob both like to draw and play baseball. All five of them do just about everything together
The group has been in several different foster homes over the last few years. At times, they were split up. The two sisters say they never want to go through that again.
"I would cry every night and day because they are my family and I don't want to lose them again," Gina said.
"I would feel like a whole, big chunk of me is gone," said Julia.
Jacob, the oldest, says it's his job to keep his little brothers and sisters out of trouble. He says as long as they stay together, all they as for is a family that will keep them busy and make sure they have time to read each and every day.
These siblings are smart, ambitious and loving . They just need some parents to love them back.
