A Kansas farmer has found a new use for goat’s milk: soap.

J.L. Nichols is a small-town man with many talents. He is a goat-herder, auctioneer and businessman. But he slipped into the soap-making market by accident.

“I was bored on a summer day and I just decided to try it,” Nichols said. “I made a batch and started handing it out people just because i was proud of it.”

It’s not just sensual homemade gifts that put this burly cowboy on the KAKEland map. Silly soap names also make great gag gifts or stocking stuffers. Monkey farts is his number one seller.

“Everyone that buys it has a nephew, a grandson or a son,” he said.
