A Wichita man was arrested Thursday for mistreatment of his dependent mother.
Yesterday, a 51-year-old man called 911 to report that his 81-year-old mother needed mental help. Officers responded to the man's home in the 4600 block of East Vesta.
When they arrived, they found hoarding conditions and no running water. They also found some minor injuries on the woman.
Police arrested the man for mistreatment of a dependent adult. The woman was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
