A 65-year-old man was rushed to an area hospital after a stabbing in southeast Wichita yesterday.
It happened just after noon Thursday at a home in the 600 block of South Barlow.
According to Wichita Police, the man's 59-year-old roommate was suspected of drinking heavily when an argument began between the two. It is unclear what the argument was about.
During the argument, the roommate allegedly got a small knife and stabbed the victim in the lower abdomen.
The victim remains at a local hospital where he was rushed in serious condition.
The roommate was booked into Sedgwick County Jail on aggravated battery.
