The Arkansas City Police Department is investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy.

Newscow reports that around 7 p.m. Sunday evening, emergency crews were called to an apartment complex in the 600 block of West Skyline. When they arrived, they found neighbors performing CPR on Manton Kieffer, who was unresponsive.

The child was transported to the hospital, where he died a short time later. At the time of his death, Kieffer was under the care of his mother's boyfriend.

An autopsy has been performed in Wichita and Arkansas City investigators are waiting for the results. At this time, there are no reports of any arrests.
