Three Clifton, Kansas children were hurt today when a truck, driven by a 13-year-old, left the roadway and overturned. The accident happened on Kansas Highway 9 near Clifton, Kansas.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said a truck driven by Joshua Mueller was pulling a trailer on the highway. Troopers said Mueller lost control of the truck. It left the roadway, entered a ditch, hit an embankment and then rolled.
Mueller and two passengers, Dillon Willbrant, 9, and Austin Morgan, 11, were taken to Clay County Medical Center for treatment.
Kansas teens must be at least 14 years old to apply for a driver's instruction permit in Kansas.
