Wichita, Kan. -- Road crews with the Kansas Department of Transportation will be shutting down the Ridge Road entrance and exit ramps at Kellogg Monday evening.
Work, which will begin with the westbound lanes, is expected to begin at 7 p.m. and the road will reopen at 6 a.m. The closure will prevent access to the Mid-Continent Airport ramp and to Ridge Road from U.S. 54/Kellogg. Drivers can exit at Dugan Road and use the westbound frontage road for access to Ridge Road or to the airport via Ridge Road.
The resurfacing work could take as long as Wednesday to complete. Crews will then move to resurfacing work on Kellogg itself, moving to eastbound lanes. The work is expected to be completed by by next week.
