Woman robbed at North Wichita home

WICHITA, Kan.-- A 22-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint at her North Wichita home on Wednesday night.

Wichita Police said it happened in the 3300 block of North Market around 7:30 p.m.

The woman was returning home from school and unlocked her front door. Her sister said that is when two men pushed her into the home, forced her onto her knees, and held her at gunpoint.

"She's very scared," said Rachel Hernandez, victim's sister.

The woman was not harmed but the men took her purse.

A neighbor saw a four-door dark colored Honda Civic leave the area.
