Woman hit by car during argument in Ark City

ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. -- A woman was arrested Saturday night after hitting another woman with her car during an argument.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 400 block of North 6th Street in Arkansas City.

Lt. Chris Arnett said the two women were arguing when Vivian Wallace, 40, got in her car and struck the other woman, 46, with her car. Wallace then left the scene.

Neither the victim’s name nor the extent of her injuries were provided.

Lt. Arnett said a bystander caught the ordeal on video.

Wallace was later arrested for aggravated battery and aggravated assault. She is being held in the Cowley County jail on $8,000 bond.
