WICHITA, Kan. - Emergency workers discovered a woman drowned in a bathtub inside a Southeast Wichita house Friday morning. Authorities believe the cause was medical.

The discovery occurred at a home in the 2000 block of South Terrace Drive around 1:15 a.m. The victim is described as a 37-year-old woman; no name was released Friday morning.

Friends of the victim were emotionally upset about what happened, blocking photographers from even shooting the street where the drowning occurred.
