A woman is dead following a rollover crash in northwest Kansas earlier today.

The accident happened just before 9 a.m. Tuesday on County Road 110, just over a mile north from K-96 near the town of Alexander in Rush County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 49-year-old Terrie Lynne Lasater of McCracken was driving south on Road 110 when she lost control and went left of center twice, before going off the west side of the roadway and rolling.

Lasater was ejected from her car and pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was in the car.
