Goddard police are investigating a Friday afternoon stabbing that sent a woman to the hospital with critical injuries.
It happened around 5 p.m. in the 600 block of North Goddard Road.
According to police, the 28-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times while in her home.
A 28-year-old man was taken into custody. Officials say a domestic dispute likely led to the stabbing.
The woman was taken to Via Christi on St. Francis for treatment. She is currently listed in stable condition.
