A winter weather advisory has been posted for Chautauqua, Sumner, and Cowley county until 9 pm Tuesday. Snow will continue to diminish in intensity and move out of the state Tuesday night. Wichita will not see any snow with this system.

The snow being reported is a wet slushy snow that will likely melt in the next few days.
