WICHITA, Kan. -- A Winter weather advisory is in effect for Wichita until 3 p.m. because of freezing drizzle, and a light coat of ice has caused travel troubles.
The Emergency Accident Reporting Plan is in effect for Wichita and Sedgwick County.
The possibility of freezing drizzle comes to an end late this morning, leaving behind a mostly cloudy sky.
In the northern part of the state, light snow will be possible through the morning. Significant snowfall is possible along the Nebraska border. Jewell County reported 6 inches of snow.
