WICHITA, Kan. — A cold and wind chill advisory is in effect for much of Kansas.

Wichita dropped to 2 degrees early Monday. It was colder in Garden City, where a reading of 3 below tied a record. Temperatures will only climb into the teens this afternoon.

The good news though is a warm up is on the way later this week. Stay with KAKE for the latest on this developing situation.
