WICHITA, Kan. -- Wichita State University fans were watching the Shockers take on Indiana State from anywhere they could.

Patrons of the Fox and Hound Bar & Grill were decked out in black and yellow. For the past few years, the restaurant has served as the location for the Alumni Association's watch-parties.

Kelly Laflin watched the game with his wife and son. He is a WSU alum and says there is something special about what the school and team has done for the city.

"Its magical, everyone is a shocker fan this year, this season, you don't see to many other colors from other schools walking around this year," Laflin said.

The community has rallied around the Shockers. The Garvey Center in downtown changed the outdoor lighting on the building to yellow and plastered WSU signage on the top.

Sports merchandise stores across Wichita say they will have "34-0" merchandise for sale starting Monday.
