Rain is expected to transition to snow overnight into Saturday morning. One to four inches could fall in the Wichita area, but should melt quickly.

A couple of weeks ago, we ran a story about the wichita man preparing to run 135 miles across death valley... all for charity.
Yesterday, that race began.
Tony Clark's progress has been updated on Facebook.
At the last post, at about four in the morning, tony was at mile 55.7.
He is running the race trying to raise money for the charity gallant few, a local veteran support network.
So far, he has raised a little over eleven thousand dollars.
This means that for the last 13 miles of the race, tony will definitely be wearing the camo pants and the combat boots, the backpack, and 2 1/2 pounds of sand.
According to facebook posts being relayed by his wife, his battle so far has been up and down.
At mile 24, he was running a 9 1/2 minute mile pace, but had to rest at mile 32 because of stomach issues.
Don't forget, you can continue to donate to the charity that tony is running for up until he hits the final 13 miles.
