WICHITA, Kan.--- More than 100 Wichita State University students stood together in solidarity to show support of the Bring Back Our Girls campaign and raise awareness of the kidnappings in Nigeria.

The peaceful protest was organized by the university's Nigerian Student Association, the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Women's Studies Department.

The group chanted, "bring back our girl," to protest against the kidnapping of more than 200 Nigerian girls from their dorm rooms by terrorists on April 16th.

The group walked to the Plaza of Heroines, where women in the community are honored publicly, to show their outrage against the abduction of young school girls.

Protests are being scheduled throughout major cities in the world and in the United States.
