WICHITA, Kan. -- Police used a Taser to take a man into custody who they say broke into his ex-girlfriend's house.

It happened in the 1600 block on North Kenmar, near 13th and Oliver.

Police said a 35-year-old man broke into his ex-girlfriend's house, and forced a 46-year-old man to leave at gunpoint. The suspect then reportedly punched his ex-girlfriend in the head and stole her keys.

When officers arrived, he was still outside holding the gun. He dropped it, but wouldn't cooperate further so officers Tased him. He was taken to jail and booked on various charges including aggravated assault, aggravated burglary and domestic violence.

The woman was not seriously hurt.
