Wichita man arrested for allegedly shooting at neighbor

WICHITA, Kan. — A Wichita man is in custody, accused of shooting at his neighbor during an argument.

Around 9:30 Sunday morning, police were called about two neighbors arguing in the 600 block of South Hunter. While officers were still en route, a man reportedly kicked in the front door of his neighbor's home, and fired a shot at the 43-year-old woman inside.

The woman wasn't injured, but officers arrived and arrested the 21-year-old man. He was booked for aggravated assault with a firearm, aggravated battery, aggravated burglary and criminal damage to property.
