Wichita Police are asking for the public's help finding the suspect who shot two people early Sunday morning.
A 27-year-old man told police he was running in the 1400 block Bluff around 3:30 a.m. Sunday when someone shot him. He was driven to a nearby hospital and admitted for a gunshot wound to his thigh. His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
The second victim, a 30-year-old woman, told police she was driving to a party in the same area when someone inside a parked, black car began firing in her direction. She felt something hit her hip, and drove to a hospital where she has since been treated and released.
Officers who responded found several shell casings in the street but were unable to find any suspects.

An investigation is underway after two people showed up at a Wichita hospital early Sunday morning both suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police say the victims, a 27-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, arrived at the hospital just before 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning in separate private vehicles. The man had been shot in the buttocks. He refused to tell police what happened.
The woman told police she was shot in the hip while sitting in a parked vehicle outside a party at a home in the 1400 block of North Bluff Street. She was treated at the hospital and released.
Officials say they believe the man was also at the party when he was shot. Investigators on the scene recovered several shell casings from a handgun.
The circumstances that lead up to the shooting have not been released. The incident is under investigation.
